The following prayer services are in the monastery church and open to the public.  
Our gates open at 4 AM and close at 8 PM after the Night Prayer.

Holy Week Schedule

• Palm Sunday 9:00 AM – Mass for Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion
• Holy Thursday 5:20 PM – Mass of the Lord’s Supper
• Good Friday 2:00 PM – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion
• Easter Sunday (Easter Vigil) – 4:30 AM

Special Christmas Schedule (Christmas Day 2025 is Thursday, December 25)

• Christmas Eve Christmas Vigil – Wednesday at 10:50 PM, followed by
  Christmas Mass – 12 Midnight (Mass is open to all, followed by a brief reception in the McGann reception room)
• There is no Christmas Day Mass

Monastic Heritage Center Schedule
Visitors Center and Museum – Open Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Closed Sundays and Mondays.

The Abbey Store – Open Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Holiday Schedule
The Center is closed on the following Holidays: New Year’s, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”), July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

The Center will close at 2:00 PM on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Also, the Center will be closed the day after Christmas, December 26. We will be closed the day after New Year, January 2.

The Monastery Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is open for distribution on Tuesdays only.
Every Tuesday from 8:30 to 11:00 AM.
Serving: Rockdale and surrounding Counties.
A picture ID and proof of address are required.
